Entrance exams after 12th and their syllabus

What to do after we finish our 12th standard (intermediate) is a big
question that confronts every student. Some people have their plans
about their education and career charted out to a T. But some get stuck
between various options available after either 12th standard. One
should always keep in mind that there is no hurry in choosing among
these options. After 12th some opt for Science, some opt for Arts and
some go for Commerce. But we should be clear about the type of
institution we want to study in. Reputed colleges and universities can
provide better job opportunities. So, to have a prospective and
successful life one should get in some reputed institutions and
organizations and doing that is not an easy thing; one has to pass the
various entrance examinations conducted by that specific organization
or educational institution. Below is a list of various entrance exam tests
after 12th along with their syllabus.

Entrance exams after 12th :
After intermediate, students who want to proceed to their higher
studies in reputed institutions need to take various entrance exams
based on their educational background. Most common entrance tests

  1. VITEE
This entrance test helps us get an admission into Vellore Institute of
Technology. This a national level usually conducted in the month of
March test for students who have finished their 12 th standard.

When it comes to the syllabus all the engineering entrance
examinations have the same syllabus, but JEE Mains is the toughest of
all. Besides the difference between VITEE and JEE mains is that the
latter has negative marking scheme and the former does not.

Medicine Entrance Examinations
When it comes to medicine the common entrance examinations that
are to be written are National Eligibility-cum- Entrance Exam (NEET),
AIIMS Entrance Test and JIPMER MBBS Entrance Test.

  1. NEET

It is a National examination entrance and eligibility test conducted by
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for the prospective
students of Medicine. Students who write this examination will be
eligible to pursue any medical education like MMBS and BDS. It is for
students who have finished their 12 th standard in Biology, Physics and
Chemistry.

NEET Medicine syllabus as of 2017 :
The syllabus for NEET involves all the things learnt in both 11 th and 12 th
standard.

Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) fot students
after their 12 th standard. This institution provides 150 seats national-
wide, which means that there is always a great deal of competition for
    to get into this institution.
JIPMER MBBS Entrance Test syllabus as of 2017:
Like said before the syllabi of all Medicine related entrance tests are
almost the same, but unlike the other Medicine related entrance
examinations, JIPMNER tests the English language abilities of the
    individuals.
