I have appeard for my B.Tech exams now, and am considering various engineering institutes for M.Tech program…I saw some interesting ads of Shiv Nadar University which spoke about cross-disciplinary curriculum… am not clear what it is….can anyone help? http://www.snu.edu.in
Hi … I have gone through counselling session with SNU, so I can help with a little more information. Cross-disciplinary education means you study subjects that seemingly don’t go with each other in traditional education system. The idea is…we all need to be rounded individuals with knowledge and understanding of various subjects to comprehend what’s happening around is in totality…For example, if you are engineer who makes products, but don’t understand business of selling the products…then you may not be able to make the best products….
So I believe SNU allows you to choose a Major and a Minor….for example….you can go in computer science with a specialization in Wireless Sensor Networks or Information Security in Banking Technology…Check their website for clarity…
